Student Ministries

(Grades 6—12)

Reach, Connect, Disciple & Empower...four words that we believe are the keys to leading students into a life experience relationship with Jesus Christ.  These are our core purposes for student ministry here at Dayspring.  We strive to ensure that everything we do from our weekly gatherings to our special events fit within these core purposes.  We see these four words as stages in a process that we desire to guide students in.

Our special events provide us with an opportunity to “Reach” students in our community with the love of Jesus.  Our weekly service “The Brink” provides us with an opportunity to “Connect” students with their peers who are also on the same spiritual quest.  Life Groups (or small groups) that meet on a weekly basis also provide opportunities for  students to not only “Connect” with peers but also our volunteer staff of leaders who are committed to beginning the process of “Discipleship” in the lives of students.  Providing students with an opportunity to be “Empowered” is an important part of their spiritual journey.  Our youth choir, student ministry worship band, kid’s   worship band and   regular opportunities for community service all combine to provide our students a chance for “Empowerment” or leadership.

It is my prayer that we could partner with you as parents to help  develop these four important concepts in your student life.
