Where is the summer going?
Every Mom and Dad want a summer of fun for their children. Those days full of laughter, making new friends, playing games, and enjoying the sun. A summer when your child's life will be shaped and memories are made that will last forever. Field trips, swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, and food!
School-age Summer Camp at Agape Children's Center is re-created each summer! Many of our students return year after year, as do our staff, as they grow professionally. Some words from our staff: " Agape is like my second home. I love being here. It doesn't feel like a job. The minute you walk in, you'll feel the difference! The heart of your child is job one. I want each child here to go home each day knowing they are loved and valued. When a child feels safe and secure in their environment, learning naturally follows. We learn a lot and have a great time doing it!"
"Discipline plan? I AM the discipline plan! Children who have the ability to reason and communicate that are having fun don't have a lot of discipline problems. The word Discipline comes from the word "disciple", meaning "to train". Children here are trained, counseled, and practice respect and kindness for themselves and to others all while we're having a blast! "
Summer Camp for children completing Kindergarten through 4th grade will start on June 1st and run through August. If your child will still be attending school the first part of June, be sure to give us their start date! We will also provide provisional care for those needing to stay for the weeks of August 16-27… many families choose to vacation these weeks and avoid paying summer camp tuition while gone in the earlier weeks. Preschool children will continue with summer classes and new students will be enrolled as space is available.
To secure your school-age child's summer fun:
Refer to the admission packet you can receive by request concerning hours, days closed, our illness and safety policies thoroughly. Fill out the information about your child on the middle pages, noting what additional medical information we may need. We no longer need a physical for your child in the first grade or above. Both sides of the forms need to be filled out IN FULL.
Return these forms and the non-refundable $25 registration fee to reserve your space! There are no additional field trip fees! The registration is FREE if registration forms are received before May 1st!
Tuition is $155 weekly. Meals are included in the cost of tuition - breakfast will be provided 7:30-8 am for summer campers in attendance at that time. Sunscreen is also included in the program fees and can only be administered if provided with the completed state-required forms.
